MOUNT PLEASANT (KYTX) - "Chase and Leia Coleman are trying to stay strong this Mother's Day, and with the help of their Mother and Father, they say they will."

Chase and Leia Coleman have lived in this house since they were  married about 2 years ago but came home to this Sunday afternoon.
"Your stomach turns upside down. You never think it will happen to you" - Leia Coleman

The couple says they went out of town to spend time with Chase's parents for Mother's Day and while they were at church,  they got the call.
"we left our phone in our car and once we got to our car several people called us saying our house was on fire" - Coleman

The Mount Pleasant Fire Department found the house engulfed in fire around 11 am.
Bill Coleman is Chase's father, he says he is just glad his son and daughter in law are okay.

"When you realize that no one was lost and things can be replaced, it becomes okay." - Bill Coleman

"The Mount Pleasant Fire Department has not been able to determine the cause of fire, but they do say that no one was injured." - Kevin Boyce, Facebook: KYTX Kevin P. Boyce
