Victim in Jacksonville mobile home fire identified

UPDATE: CHEROKEE COUNTY (KYTX) - Cherokee County Sheriff's Office released the name of the victim in the mobile home fire on Friday.

Captain John Raffield tells KYTX CBS 19 that 42-year-old Cedric McCuin of Jacksonville died from injuries sustained in the fire.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.

 


CHEROKEE COUNTY (KYTX) -- Jacksonville firefighters are on the scene of a deadly mobile home fire.  The Jacksonville Fire department confirms the fire broke out around 7 on CR 3302.  The Jacksonville Daily Progress reports one person was killed in the fire but there's no word on the gender or identity of the victim.  We'll have more information as we get it.
