Web Exclusive: General Electric getting into fracking business

(CBS) - General Electric is betting billions on the fracking boom.  Fracking uses a pressurized liquid to break through rock layers to force oil and gas out.  G.E. hopes its investment in research will reduce environmental and health impacts and make the process more profitable for energy companies.

Netflix is pinning its hopes on the revival of "Arrested Development."  The award winning television show was canceled seven years ago, but it was resurrected this past weekend on Netflix.  The company hopes the revived series will draw more subscribers to its internet video service.  Netflix suffered a customer backlash earlier this year when it raised prices.   
 
A new analysis of movies aimed at adolescents shows images of smoking have gone down, but images of alcohol are on the rise.  Exposure to tobacco and alcohol in the movies has been associated with increased smoking and drinking among teenagers.  Ever since 1998, paid cigarette brand placements have dropped dramatically following an agreement between tobacco companies and the states, but during the same period alcohol brand product placements have increased from 80 to 145 per year.
