Chicken fingers chain coming to Tyler

TYLER (TYLER MORNING TELEGRAPH) - Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers is coming to Tyler.

Raising Cane's USA, LLC, of Plano, filed a building permit to construct a new 2,715-square-foot dine-in fast food restaurant with drive-thru service at 4186 S. Broadway Ave. for $800,000. Work includes removing existing trees and paving, providing new grading, paving and landscaping and constructing the building. MAPP Construction, of Baton Rouge, La., is the contractor.

The Tyler Independent School District is renovating the science labs at the two local high schools. Work includes gutting and redoing four labs at John Tyler High School, at 1120 NNW Loop 323, for $800,000; and gutting and redoing six lab rooms at Robert E. Lee High School, at 411 ESE Loop 323, for $1.2 million. WRL General Contractors Ltd., of Flint, is the contractor.

Smith County is turning a 2,508-square-foot space at 308 E. Ferguson into an office for the Precinct 1 constable for $45,000.

Mike Pile BMW is doing demolition work to its 23,199-square-foot facility at 2401 WSW Loop 323 for $30,000. Lay Construction is the agent and Vastida Systems, of Plano, is the contractor.

TSR Construction Inc. is putting a new metal roof on a storage building at 1005 Bois D'Arc for $17,289.

Campbell Custom Homes, of Bullard, is putting a façade around the door of a 13,000-square-foot sales office for Pico Technology, at 320 N. Glenwood, for $15,000.

Sign permits were filed by BioLife, 332 Heritage Drive, $4,200, Kirkland Sign Co.; D&N Grocery, 1007 W. Bow St., $500, Signs & Banners; Chelle Salon, 2314 ESE Loop 323, $800, Design Center Signs; and Tyler Internal Medicine Associates, P.A., 1910 Roseland Blvd., $8,500, Design Center Signs.

RESIDENTIAL

P&D Development is constructing a three-unit multi-family residence. It includes a 1,928-square-foot unit at 5021 Shiloh Ridge Drive for $115,000; a 1,940-square-foot unit at 5027 Shiloh Ridge for $114,000; and a 2,095-square-foot unit at 5033 Shiloh Ridge for $125,000.

JP Pool Home Builder LLC is constructing a 2,042-square-foot home at 4133 Colina Trail for $164,000.

JP Pool Home Builder LLC is building a 2,569-square-foot house at 4210 Colina Trail for $159,000.

Casey Homes is building a 2,342-square-foot house at 2512 Guinn Farms for $160,000.

Kristen Anderson is doing interior demolition and roof work to a home at 3514 Bain Place for $90,000. Jon-Paul Stanley is the contractor.

Todd Cruthird is building a $50,000 pool at 2110 Dover. Flamingo Bay Pools is the contractor.

Teresa C. Van Sandt is renovating a house at 4722 Downing St. for $40,000. Work includes upgrading electrical, removing paneling and termite damaged sheetrock and studs, turn pantry into storage room, replace HVAC, add vent-free fireplace and tankless water heater.

William and Cathrine Shillcutt are building a $32,000 pool at 727 Oxford. Excel Pools & Landscaping, of Flint, is the contractor.

Todd Hiles is adding a gas fireplace and brick work at 816 Mallory Court for $23,000. Fain Construction is the contractor.

Henry Steinman is repairing a house damaged by a tree at 114 E. Second St. for $20,000. Lloyd Construction, of Troup, is the contractor.

Pike and Andria Wisner are remodeling their kitchen and bathroom at 600 Dorchester for $20,000. Jenrose Designs LLC is the contractor.

Jeff and Michelle Carr are expanding a sitting room at 5801 Quail Creek for $17,350. Haberle Construction, of Whitehouse, is the contractor.

Woody and Becky Clawson are upgrading their master bathroom at 2335 Roy Road for $11,300. Haberle Construction is the contractor.

Gail Rogers is replacing a door at 642 Winding Brook for $425. A-Z Construction is the contractor.

B.W. Construction filed a grading permit for 3114 Shady Trail.

Horton's Concrete filed a driveway permit for 2218 Fallcrest.

There also was one plumbing inspector permit and 12 HVAC permits filed.
