MOUNT ENTERPRISE (KYTX)- "At about 6:30 Monday morning, Rusk County Sheriff's Deputies were called to Mount Enterprise and a scene where family emotions were flying high. " - Kevin Boyce

Here on County Road 3167, a family in tears gather in their front yard, to mourn the loss of 32 year old Alonzo Lewis.
Dre'on Oliver has lived in Mount Enterprise for 18 years. He was surprised when he heard about the shooting.
"It just makes you realize that anything can happen anywhere at anytime, and just take advantage of the time you have here"

Rusk County Sheriff Jeff Price says Alonzo and his brother, 24-year old Brian Townsend got into a heated argument at their parents house, when Townsend allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Alonzo, killing him.
Sheriff  Price says this is the first homicide of the year for Rusk County and his deputies are still sifting through the clues.
"We are currently waiting on the autopsy results, and we will start interviewing anybody that was involved."
Sheriff Price says when his deputies arrived, Townsend was still at the house , and did not resist arrest.
For Dre'on Oliver,  he says he didn't know the people involved, but they will be in his prayers.
"Just keep their family in your prayers, and look out for everyone around you"

"The Rusk County Sheriff's Department says the investigation is on going but they have brought the Texas Rangers in to assist."
