A Top Ten Wanted Texas Fugitive arrested

(KYTX) - On Friday, Robert Anthony Lopez, 48, was successfully captured and taken into custody in San Antonio. Lopez was a Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitive and Tango blast member.
 
His extensive criminal history includes aggravated sexual assault of a child, assault causing bodily injury, injury to a disabled person, violation of protective order, and prohibited weapons.
 
Police received two tips that placed Lopez at a San Antonio residence that led to his arrest by the Bexar County Sheriffs Office Street Crimes Unit. A total reward of $7500 will be paid to the tipsters.
 
So far in 2013, there have been 19 Texas Most Wanted Fugitives and Sex Offenders, including seven gang members, arrested by the DPS and other agencies. The Governor's Criminal Justice Division has funded $34,000 in rewards for people who's tips resulted in an arrest.
