More trouble for Paula Deen

(CNN) - In Entertainment News, more bad news for Paula Deen following her admission to using a racial slur.

Now, the shopping network, QVC is considering severing ties with the celebrity chef. The network says they do not tolerate discriminatory behavior.

In a lawsuit deposition, Deen said she's used racial slurs in the past. She recently issued an apology by posting video statements online. 

Last week, the Food Network decided it won't renew Deen's contract after it expires at the end of the month.


(CNN) -  A newcomer shoots straight to the top of the weekend box office.

 

"Monsters University" took in a whopping $82 million dollars in ticket sales. It's the 14th film and 14th straight number one hit for Pixar. 

And, Brad Pitt nabs a new career high opening weekend at the box office. Coming in second, "World War Z" rakes in more than $66 million dollars. 

Third place this week grossing more than $41 million dollars, "Man of Steel."

Less than two weeks on the big screen, and the movie has already brought in $210 million
dollars at the box office. 


(CBS) - Premiering on CBS tonight,  "Under the Dome."

The drama is based on Stephen King's best-selling novel. It's the story of a small town that is suddenly sealed off from the rest of the world.
