COLLEGE STATION - Two Texas A&M University football players face assault charges for their roles in a fight police said took place in April.

College Station police said arrest warrants were issued Monday for 21-year-old Deshazor Everett and 20-year-old Floyd Raven. Both men are listed as sophomore defensive backs on the Aggies online football roster.

Police said officers were called to the 1300 block of Harvey Mitchell Parkway for a report of a large fight just before 3 a.m. on April 7.

Upon their arrival, officers found a large group of people at an apartment complex and two people who were injured. The victims told police they were attacked by a "large group of black males."

According to police, the witnesses said after they parked, their vehicle was kicked and they were pulled from their vehicle.  They told police the group assaulted them.

Officials said one victim was taken to a hospital for their injuries. Police said both victims received "visible injuries" from the assault. Their vehicle was also damaged.

According to police, both victims and a witness identified Everett and Raven as the suspects.

Authorities said during their investigation, both Everett and Raven admitted to being in an altercation at the complex.

Both Aggies are charged with assault and criminal mischief.
