Entertainment News: Kevin Clash May Walk From Allegations

Posted: Updated:

(CBS) - In Entertainment News, three lawsuits against voice actor Kevin Clash have been dismissed.

That's because the judge says the accusers waited too long to sue.

Clash is best known for his work as the voice of "Elmo" from Sesame Street.

He resigned from Sesame Workshop last year after one of the plaintiffs, Cecil Singleton, accused the puppeteer of having an underage sexual relationship with him.

There is still one case against Clash that is pending.

(CBS) - Toby Keith is the king of country gold,  literally.

Forbes magazine released a list of the highest-paid country music acts in the past year and Keith came out on top.

The "Red Solo Cup" singer pulled in $65 million dollars. Taylor Swift was number two  on the list. Her "Red" album helped her bring in $55 million dollars.

Kenny Chesney, Tim Mcgraw, and Carrie Underwood round out the rest of the top five.

(CBS) - Singer Ruben Studdard is headed back to TV, but this time around, the season two of American Idol winner will  be trying to lose.

People Magazine reports Studdard, ho is nicknamed the "Velvet Teddy Bear",  will compete on the NBC weight loss show "The Biggest Loser."

The 35-year-old crooner will appear on the show's 15th season this Fall.
