SHELBY COUNTY (KYTX) - A kidnapped 11 year old from the Center area has been found safe. The Center Police Department tells CBS 19 she was found in the Tyler area overnight.

She was reported missing around 8:30 Tuesday night from the Loop 500 convenience store. The driver of a Maroon 2006 Ford Focus went into the store, leaving her eleven year old daughter inside the vehicle. That's when Beatrice Pittman, a passenger in the car got out and got into the driver's seat -- driving off in the car. The suspect's fifteen year old daughter was also in the car.

Center Police Department was notified at approximately 1:20 a.m. by Tyler Police that the vehicle and suspect were in custody and the two girls had been located.

The three were transported to ETMC for non life threatening injuries because the vehicle was involved in an accident.

Pittman is being charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle and Kidnapping. She also has charges with the Tyler Police Department. The girls were released to family members. The case is still under investigation
