Web Exclusive: Reports Apple considering bigger iPhone screen

(CBS/CNN) - Apple is reportedly exploring larger touch screens for iPhones and iPads.  The Wall Street Journal reports the company is currently testing them out.  Apple has asked for designs of smartphone screens larger than the four-inch version of the iPhone 5 and tablet screens measuring just under 13 inches.  It is not clear when or if the new screens will hit the market.
 
Back to school shopping is in full swing. With many children headed back to class in just a few weeks parents are already surfing the web for school supply deals.  According to the National Retail Federation, families with school-age children will spend about $635 dollars on shoes, clothes, supplies and electronics this year. That's about $50 dollars less than last year.
 
A big change at Taco Bell.  The fast food chain says they're going to stop serving their kids meal and toys, because they weren't boosting sales.  They're the first national chain to do that. 
Some franchises will take them off the menu this month, but by January no U.S. restaurants will serve them. 
 
Film director, Spike Lee, wants to bypass Hollywood, so he's raising money on Kickstarter.  He's launched an online campaign similar to "Veronica Mars', which brought in almost $6 million dollars.
A cool perk if you invest $10 grand, you get to sit court-side with lee at a Knicks game.
