Habitat for Humanity and Path are teaming up to help some future homeowners

Posted: Updated:
(KYTX) - The partnership announced today will allow some of the tenants in the Transitional Housing Program through Path to be put on the list to owning their own home through the help of Smith County Habitat for Humanity.

Executive Director Greg Grubb says the program is about 2 years long and requires the people work through any financial struggles to become self sufficient.

"Have a tangible reward ahead of them at the end of the program and makes it worthwhile to work through barriers they have. They have a real shot at being homeowners."

Those who qualify will have to meet requirements from both agencies in order to qualify.
