Men assault one man, steal cash

FROM THE TYLER POLICE DEPARTMENT:


On Friday July 26, 2013 at approximately 8:47 p.m. Officers responded to the area of North Spring and Hillsboro in reference to a robbery.  Officers learned that the victim a Hispanic male was walking in the area and was approached by two Black male suspects.  The suspects assaulted the victim, stole his money and cell phone then fled in a light color sedan.  No weapons were displayed during the assault the victim suffered only minor injuries.  This case is currently under investigation by the Tyler Police Department. 

If you have any information about the suspects involved in this crime you are urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crime Stoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833).  Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.
