Web Exclusive: BMW is going electric for i3

(CBS/CNN) - BMW is the first luxury automaker to enter the electric car market.  The German company is using carbon-fiber materials to keep the car's weight down and improve driving performance.  The new i3 electric compact goes from zero to 60 in about seven seconds and has range of up to 100 miles.  The BMW electric car rolls into U.S. showrooms next year starting at about $46,000 dollars.

Hundreds of fast food workers across the country walked off the job Monday.  The one-day protest was held in major cities like New York and St. Louis.  The protestors are demanding the right to unionize and calling for a raise in the minimum wage from 7 dollars an hour to 15.  
Opponents say giving-into their demands would kill jobs.  
Your weight could determine your higher education choices.  A new study finds that being overweight may lower your odds of getting into graduate school.  The survey found that heavier grad school candidates who were asked to do a face-to face interview had lower admission rates than thinner applicants and overweight applicants who didn't have to do in-person interviews.  
An Oregon woman sues Equifax over credit score errors and wins!  Julie Miller was awarded $18.6 million dollars.  Her lawsuit says she contacted Equifax eight times about the mistakes.  
The judgment is the largest awarded to a consumer against one of the major credit bureaus.
