UPDATE: Tyler woman shot and killed at local park

UPDATE: A 20 year old woman was shot and killed at a Tyler Park Tuesday evening. Lt. Robert Plymail with Tyler Police Department said the woman was shot at P.T. Cole Park at the intersection of Vine Ave. and Mockingbird Dr. around 9:41 p.m.

Officers closed the park and will be on scene several more hours investigating. The victim name has not been released at this time.

Police are not releasing any more details at the moment. 

If you have any information about the suspects involved in this crime you are urged to contact the Tyler Police Department, at 903-531-1000, or Crime Stoppers at 903-597-CUFF (903-597-2833).  

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges filed against the suspects in this case or any felony case.

 

 


 

 

TYLER (KYTX) -- Tyler Police are at the scene of a reported shooting at P.T. Cole Park in the 2000 block of West Front Street.  An area around the scene is blocked off and several police are still there.  At this point there's no word on the severity of injuries or who police may be looking for.  CBS19 has a crew on the scene and we'll have more details as they become available.
