LONGVIEW (KYTX) - The smells of tortillas, chicken, and beans, is the smell of resiliency for the owners of T.Blancos. The restaurant suffered over a hundred thousand dollars in fire and smoke damage in March. For fans of the restaurant like Trey Badley, he says the food has been missed.
"We used to come here 3-4 times  a week, I only have 30 minutes for lunch and it's very convenient."
    The restaurant unveiled its new and improved venue to group of friends and family Friday night , to act as a warm up night for the grand reopening Monday. The restaurant has a new ordering system with ipads, a new balcony, and an even larger dining area than before.  General Manager Mason White says it has been a long road back.
"My first thought when I got the call was that it wasn't going to be that bad, but when I got here it wasn't that at all. It was very bad."
"5 months ago this restaurant had caution tape around it, but now this restaurant is even better than before"
"It's not only amazing to be able to continue what we love doing, but get a 2nd chance at doing it."
"I pass by it everyday wondering when it was going to be reopened, and I got really excited when I saw the beer truck today."
