BOWIE COUNTY (KTBS) - Three people, including a child, are dead after a one-vehicle rollover crash on I-30 East this morning in Bowie County, Texas. The accident happened around 6:30 a.m. this morning during rush hour traffic. Troopers believe the driver fell asleep at the wheel, crossed the center line and overcorrected causing the vehicle to roll over on the shoulder of the road.

Several passengers were ejected from the vehicle. The three deceased were pronounced at the scene; one person was taken to LSU Health with life-threatening injuries. Three other passengers were taken to a local hospital. Authorities say the vehicle was traveling from Mexico to Indiana when the accident happened.
