Bowie County Sheriff's Office:

BOWIE COUNTY (KYTX) - Bowie County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to a burglary Tuesday that had just occurred in the 200 block of Goodson Lane Redwater, Texas.

While on they were on the way, the deputies were informed the suspects had left in a blue car occupied by several people including a white female and a black male. Deputy Stephen Powell located and stopped a vehicle matching this description on Highway 67 at Farm to Market 2148.

Deputy Powell detained these individuals while other deputies met with the victim. The victim told deputies she was at home when she saw a vehicle she did not know pull down her driveway. The driver of this vehicle honked the horn and then a black male walked to the front door of the victim's house. This subject knocked on the front door and returned to the vehicle when no one answered.  The victim could hear the people in the car talking, but could not understand what was being said.

A few moments later, this black male returned to the victim's front door and forced it open. The victim confronted this subject and told him to get out of her house. It was at this time she realized he was armed with shotgun. This subject ran back to the vehicle in the driveway. The vehicle left the victim's yard heading west on Goodson Lane. It was a short time later this same vehicle was stopped by Deputy Powell.

Two firearms were recovered from this vehicle and its occupants were arrested for Burglary of a Habitation. The four people arrested from this vehicle are

  • Demarquis Blackwell, 19 of Texarkana, Texas
  • Keshaundra Blackwell, 17 of Texarkana, Arkansas
  • Amy Nicole Riley,27 of Atlanta, Texas
  • Anthony Epps, 18 of Texarkana, Arkansas

Each suspect has been charged with Burglary of a Habitation and their bonds have been set at $40,000.00 each.
