Man gets car stolen at Super One in Tyler

Posted: Updated:

(KYTX) - A man has his car back tonight after police say he was attacked while trying to sell it -- and a man drove off with it.

It happened last night at the Super One on Troup Highway in Tyler.

Hector Magallanes met David Vanausdal to sell his car. But he says Vanausdal tried to give him too little money.

When Magallanes questioned him, Vanausdal allegedly took the keys and drove off.

"At that point the suspect got aggitated, told him to get out of the car, the victim, actually forced him out of the car and in doing so, he sprayed him with pepper spray."

Vanausdal was arrested at a convenience store on Highway 64 he's been charged with evading arrest and robbery.
