Entertainment News: 'The Partridge Family' star arrested for DWI

(CNN) - In Entertainment News, David Cassidy is facing drunken driving charges after he was arrested in upstate New York.

The Partridge Family star was pulled over at a DWI check point Wednesday morning for driving with his high beams on. 

An officer smelled alcohol on his breath and administered a field sobriety test. Cassidy allegedly had a point .10 blood alcohol level and was arrested on the spot.

Two years ago Cassidy plead no contest after a drunk driving arrest in Florida.

Zayn Malik has gotten engaged to his girlfriend, singer Perrie Edwards. Overall, things are definitely good for One Direction . 

A new documentary about the band is coming out. According to Billboard, they're the only British group to have their first two albums debut at number one in the United States.



(CNN) - Say what you will about James Franco, but he's always doing something! 

Variety is reporting the actor is getting his own show on cable network Ovation. The report says the program kicks off in November and features Franco exploring art and other passions. 

Aside from his numerous motion picture credits, Franco has involved himself in various projects, from painting to even once teaching a college course, which was about himself.
