Business News: Google may give access to out of market games

Posted: Updated:

(CBS) - In Business News, Google could kick-off a new era on the Internet.

The web giant has been meeting with NFL officials and may be talking about taking over the league's 'Sunday Ticket', which gives fans access to out of market games.

Direct TV currently has rights to the subscription service, but their deal ends in 2014.

(CBS) - UPS is blaming President Obama's new healthcare plan for its decision to cut 15,000 workers' spouses from its insurance rolls.

The package delivery company said it will discontinue coverage of husbands and wives eligible for insurance with their own employers.

The company said it expects healthcare costs to increase more than 11 percent when Obamacare takes effect next year.

(CBS) - Household incomes aren't getting any higher.

According to a new report the average household made just over 52,000 in June 2013.

That's down 4.4 percent from June 2009 when the great recession ended.

It's also 3,400 dollars less than when the recession began in December 2007.
