Burglary suspect caught after breaking into Tyler building

TYLER (KYTX) - At about 2:56 a.m. the Tyler Police Dept. was notified that the East Texas Medical Center's Marketing Services building, located at 815 S. Beckham Ave., was burglarized and their security personnel had located a possible suspect.

Moments later officers arrived on scene and learned ETMC Security had detained a white male they found walking away from the building immediately following the incident. Officers contacted the white male, identified as Drew Pace, 22, from Tyler.

Pace was covered in blood with numerous cuts on his arms and legs. Officers also noticed that one of the business' large windows was shattered with blood found all around that lead into the business.

Pace was treated by EMS Paramedics and no other suspects were located. The scene was processed and following a thorough investigation Pace was placed under arrest for Burglary of a Building, a State Jail Felony.
