Web Exclusive: Actress Valerie Harper dancing through cancer diagnosis

(CNN/CBS) - Actress Valerie Harper has plenty of fight left.  She has reportedly signed on for the new season of Dancing with the Stars, despite her recent cancer diagnosis.

 
The 74 year old actress was given three months to live back in March, but according to TMZ she is doing well.  She has already started rehearsing.
 
Singer and fashion mogul Jessica Simpson is showing off her two-month old son, Ace Knute Johnson, on the cover of US Weekly.  Also on the cover, Simpson's 15-month-old daughter Maxwell.  On the subject on if any more kids could be on the horizon, Simpson says she and her fiance Eric Johnson are happy with their family and have no plans for more. 
 
A photo of a woman carrying her amputee husband is touching the hearts of thousands online. 
The photo of Jesse and Kelly Cottle has gotten hundreds of shares and comments on Facebook. The former Marine lost both his legs in Afghanistan in 2003.  Kelly says they were taking family photos in a river, and she was just helping Jesse , like she's done dozens of times before. 
 
Four young men say they are speechless that a four dollar purchase of batteries and an audio cable has generated national attention. The football players from William Patterson University unknowingly entered a store after it closed to grab a few items. But the young men, who couldn't find the clerk, paid for everything,  even adding in the tax. The players thought the store was open because the door was unlocked.  The store manager personally thanked the young men and gave them a $50-dollar shopping spree for their honesty.
