Ozone Action Day issued for Friday, slight rain chances expected Tuesday
EAST TEXAS (KYTX) - Temperatures climbed to 100 degrees across much of
East Texas today, and they will do the same Friday.
The National Weather Service
in Shreveport has declared an Ozone Action Day for Friday.
Rain chances are near
zero, and they will stay that way into the weekend. East Texas will catch the
western edge of a weak cold front early next week, and that will produce some
small changes in our weather.
Temperatures will drop a few degrees over the
weekend and early next week. There will be a slight chance of showers and
thunderstorms in the area Tuesday.
