TYLER (KYTX) - Donations for the 100th Habitat Home for Humanity in 100 hours with 100 sponsors is well underway.

Saturday, Habitat for Humanity was presented a $800 check from a group of ladies taking Jazzercise class at the First Christian Church in Tyler.

The woman who will be presented the 100th Habitat Home, Cheresa Monmouth, and Mayor Barbara Bass were there for the check presentation.

"Things just started coming together, I met the right people and the people send me to the right path and everything fell in line," said Monmonth.

"And in two weeks we not only met the $700 goal we exceeded it," said Christy Ross. She's teaching the Jazzercise class and says seeing so many willing to help is a testament to the type of people that call Tyler home. The 100th Habitat Home is expected to be finished by Thanksgiving.
