Web Exclusive: Chicago morning crew hangs up on Oprah

(CNN/CBS) - Talk about a big oops!  The WGN morning news team in Chicago accidentally hung up on Oprah Winfrey during a live phone interview Tuesday.


Oprah was the first guest on the expanded morning newscast.  She was talking about the new programming on her own network when the call suddenly went to a dial tone.  Moments later, Oprah was back on the line and insisted the hang up wasn't her fault, joking, "Y'all got a few kinks to work out," says Oprah.
 
Retail experts say Samsung's newest gadget could be a must-have gift for the holidays.  The company unveiled its Galaxy gear digital wristwatch Wednesday.  It's synced to your smartphone so you can make a call without taking out your phone and receive and send messages on the 2 inch screen. The smartwatch will sell for about $300 dollars and debuts just weeks ahead of a similar product expected from rival, Apple.
 
Some interesting new research shows a little detail about who may be the crooks in your cubicle.  This new study has some fascinating conclusions, all of which point a finger at men in the workplace. The study shows women tend to be more honest. Researchers found that women are less likely to take part in corporate crimes. Of the 436 defendants they studied - fewer than one in 10 was a woman. Now, we should point out that the study did also report that statistics show women's opportunity to commit corporate crimes as top executives was more limited than men
 
How would you like to watch something like "The Walking Dead" say for a homework assignment?  Well, now you can!  The University of California Irvine is offering a free, massive online open course this fall and the hit AMC show is the subject. The school partnered with the network to create an eight-week class.  It's called "society, science, survival: lessons from AMC's 'The Walking Dead.'"  Enrollment is currently open to anyone who's interested.

    An Air Algerie flight from Burkina Faso to Algiers has disappeared from radar, the official Algerian news agency said Thursday.  Air navigation services lost track of the plane 50 minutes after takeoff early Thursday, last sited at 1:50 a.m. GMT (10:50p EDT), the agency said.
