Web Exclusive: Children weigh in on hot holiday toys

Posted: Updated:

(CBS/CNN) - After enduring several surgeries and threats to his life, Jason Mortensen was rewarded with something most people only experience once -- true love at first sight.

Following his most recent surgery, Mortensen awoke in a loopy state due to the anesthesia.
His wife, Candice, was recording as he woke up.  While Candice was focused on making sure her husband ate crackers, her husband was focused on hitting on the strange woman in front of him.

"Did the doctor send you? Man, you are eye candy. How long have we been married," says Jason Mortensen. "A long time," says Candice. "Oh my God, I hit the jackpot," replied Jason.
The video ended up on YouTube and so far has had over 4 million hits.

It may be early to start thinking holiday shopping, but one retailer already has a hot toy list this year with a little twist. Wal-mart used kids to help put together this year's top twenty list.
About a thousand boys and girls from 18 months to 10 years old spend a weekend in Dallas playing with toys. So what did they like? A new robotic pet furby, a Barbie dream house play set and toys tied to TV shows.

Clint Eastwood and his wife Dina have apparently separated.  The Monterey County Herald reports Dina filed papers there, and is asking for shared custody of their teenage daughter.
The 83-year-old Eastwood is currently in Los Angeles directing the musical "Jersey Boys."

It's the hottest college football ticket in town.  Kyle field may be quiet now, but Saturday at the A&M - Alabama game expect heat on the field and in the stands. Every seat is already sold.
There will be extra seats placed on the track and everywhere else will be standing room only.
Mike Caruso with A&M Athletics says a lot of fans just want to see Heisman Trophy Winner Johnny Manziel play. In fact CBS Sports will have what they're billing as a "Johnny Cam", just to follow his every move.  There will also be extra security in the stadium and on campus.
