Two East Texas Teens killed in overnight accident

MORRIS CO. (KYTX) - A one vehicle accident has claimed the lives of two teenagers, and seriously injured two other people.

Texas Department of Public Safety reports a pickup truck driven by Tanner Lane Allen, 19 of Naples , TX. was traveling west on County Road 4304 when he lost control , left the roadway and struck a tree.

Allen and one of three passengers, Chelsey Rayann Marie Hatfield, 18 of Omaha, TX. were pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other passengers were seriously injured in the wreck. Cayden Reece Richardson,19 of Naples is listed in stable condition and Arian Louise Martin,16 of Omaha, TX. is hospitalized in critical condition.

The fatal accident occurred Thursday at approximately 10:50 PM, but the crash was not discovered until 3:00 a.m. after the teens failed to arrive home.

DPS reports that the occupants of the vehicle were wearing seatbelts.
