East Texas football games rescheduled due to weather

Posted: Updated:

(KYTX) - Several Friday night football games have been rescheduled due to the rainy weather conditions.

Robert E. Lee at Texas High will now be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Texarkana.

The Daingerfield at Gilmer homecoming football game is rescheduled due to stormy weather conditions. The game was supposed to be at 7:30 Friday night. Gilmer ISD says it will now kick-off at 11:00 am Saturday, September 21st at Buckeye Stadium in Gilmer.

Sabine at Harleton is moved to Saturday at 4 p.m.

The game between the Longview Lobos and Lufkin is still set to kick off at 7:30 at Lobo Stadium – but there are possible changes to the homecoming presentations.

If it is still raining later this afternoon, Homecoming activities will be held at 6:30 in Lobo Coliseum. If the rain subsides, homecoming presentations will be held on the football field at 7 p.m., as previously scheduled.

Also, the performance of the mini Viewettes (the pre-K through 5th graders) has been canceled for tonight. Call Viewette Director Heather Gee for more information at (903) 663-7165.

Leverett's Chapel vs. Marshall Christian Academy has been moved to 5 p.m. tomorrow at West End Park in Marshall.

The Atlanta at Gladewater contest has been moved to 2 p.m. Saturday.
