LONGVIEW (KYTX) - Longview native Royce Sigler said he wants normalcy for his daughters kidnapped by their maternal grandmother this summer in Russia -- so he's given the grandmother temporary custody -- with conditions.

Sigler wants to reunite with his daughters -- Tanya and Ksenya -- who were taken by their mother in 2008 -- after a Texas court granted Sigler custody.

The girls' grandmother kidnapped them again July 2 -- after Sigler went to Russia to bring them back to the U.S.

Sigler said he's also hired a second attorney to petition a Russian court to recognize his parental rights. Sigler still doesn't have a visa to return to Russia -- after a visa approved for him in July was revoked three weeks ago.
