Sam's Club Offers Free Passes to Military During Shutdown

Posted: Updated:

(KCEN) -- Sam's Club is offering free passes to the military during the government shutdown.

After the shutdown of domestic military base commissaries, all Sam's Club locations are offering free shopping passes to military personnel, retirees and their families.

Sam's Club says that this is an effort to continue to save on home and business essentials.

To receive the temporary pass, guests should show military ID or proof of past/present military service at the Sam's Club service counter.

Sam's Club will continue to offer these temporary passes to military personnel and families until the United States Government resumes domestic commissary operations.
