Business News: New $100 bills enter circulation tomorrow

(CNN) - In Business News, New $100 dollar bills will be showing up at banks this week. 


The Federal Reserve board says the new currency will begin circulating tomorrow.  

New security features include a blue, 3D security ribbon that makes it easier to authenticate, and harder to counterfeit.



(CBS) - Good news for drivers this morning.

The latest Lundberg Survey found prices at the pump plunged an average of 14 cents a gallon over the past two weeks.  

 

The national average stands at $3.38 for a gallon of regular gas.

Here in East Texas, we've seen it as cheap as $2.91 a gallon.

 


 

(CBS) - Japan Airlines announced this morning it's ordering new planes from Airbus.  

The airline is purchasing 31 A350 jets worth $9.5 billion dollars.

The agreement is a major setback for Airbus' rival Boeing, which has long dominated the Japanese market.
