Voting Law Exceptions, Voting assistance

Texas voters without identification but are registered to vote will still be able to cast their ballot. However, once a ballot is cast, that voter must return to the elections office with an ID or printout ID with their picture on it for their vote to be considered valid.

This will be allowed until November 21, 2013

The NAACP is asking that people who are having trouble getting necessary documents, transportation, or are facing any other issue as it relates to getting what's necessary to vote, to call their local NAACP office for assistance.

If you are looking for legal advice as it relates to civil rights and voting you may call one of two numbers listed below.
