UPDATE :Harrison Co missing person found safe

Missing person found in Longview, Texas

At approximately 9:50 AM, Investigators with the Harrison County Sheriff's Office received information that the missing person was at a local motel in Longview, Texas. Investigators went to the location and after confirming with the desk clerk, found the missing person and his roommate in a motel room. Dayton Hathaway was found well and gave no explanation as to his decision to not have any contact with his family.

He is safe and Investigators have contacted his family to give them the information.


 

 

MARSHALL (KYTX) - Harrison County Sheriff's Office is seeking information regarding the whereabouts of 19-year-old Dayton LaRay Hathaway, who is listed as a missing person with our office.

Dayton's last known whereabouts was when his vehicle was located near his residence in the 6700 block of US Highway 80 East on October 17, 2013. He has also not reported to his work since October 17 and his family has not had communication with him.

Dayton is described as a white male, 6'2", 160 Lbs, short brown hair, brown eyes. He has a tattoo with a Chinese symbol on his chest and a tattoo on his left forearm written in German.  

Any information regarding the welfare of Dayton Hathaway may be given to the Harrison County Sheriff's Office at 903-923-4000. Dayton is listed as a missing person on TCIC/NCIC.
