UPDATE:  We just wrapped up our 8th Super Shredder Day at CBS 19.

Many of you brought by your unwanted documents and small electronics, and we recycled it all for free.

We shredded more than 80,000 pounds of paper in Tyler and Longview.

Early estimates show we also collected about 3,000 pounds or more of electronics in Tyler.

We're still waiting on the numbers from Longview.

TYLER (KYTX) - It's Super Shredder Day here at CBS19. Wednesday is your chance to recycle all your unwanted documents and some electronics for free.

Just drive through our parking lot and we'll have a full staff here to direct you on where you need to go, depending on what you have to recycle. You don't even have to get out of your car!

We're taking paper products- everything from old documents to magazines.

You can also bring in electronics, like old computers and copy machines.

Ark-La-Tex Shredding and STS Electronic Recycling are here to help you with that.

We are not accepting TVs this time, but pretty much all other electronics are welcome.

Super Shredder Day begins at 6 Wednesday morning and runs until 8 p.m.

This year, you can come by our station in Tyler, or for the first time, our news bureau at the Austin Bank building in Longview.
