VALDOSTA, Ga., Oct. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ClientTell today announced the release of BillPay Manager™, its technology solution focusing on the critical area of revenue cycle management.
BillPay Manager (BPM) enables healthcare organizations and commercial businesses to more effectively collect past-due and unpaid balances from patients and customers. Utilizing IVR (interactive voice response) technology in both inbound and outbound capacities, BPM provides a comprehensive method for efficiently managing the revenue cycle.
BPM works as an inbound solution by allowing patients to call a toll-free phone number, 24/7, and securely and confidentially pay their outstanding balances.
As a targeted, proactive solution, BPM also functions in an outbound manner. In this role, BPM contacts patients with personalized notifications, via phone, to remind them that their balances are past due. Then, BPM provides a touch-tone response option that allows patients to make payments while they're on the line.
BPM accepts ACH, credit card, and debit card transactions, and allows for both full and partial payments. Additionally, it integrates directly with each organization's payment processor and associated accounts, easing the process of collecting missing revenue and simplifying the accounts receivable process.
As a true agentless solution, BPM maximizes revenue collection, eliminates excessive fees associated with traditional collection methods, and frees staff to handle other critical organizational tasks. Further, BPM optimally manages the sensitive, confidential nature of past-due balances, empowering patients to meet their obligations without the threat of embarrassment.
Because BPM works as a hosted service, there's no hardware or software to buy or install. Real-time, detailed reporting is available via the web, allowing healthcare practices to monitor the results of outbound campaigns or inbound activity at any time.
ClientTell's CEO, Pat Sullivan, explains:
"We see BPM as a big benefit for both healthcare operations and patients. From the business side, it's effective at collecting outstanding revenue through its dual inbound/outbound functionality. It's also much less expensive than a collection agency to do the work for you. Instead of shelling out a large percentage of the balance, businesses now keep the revenue they've earned.
For patients, BPM properly handles the sensitive nature associated with late payments and balances. It eliminates awkward or embarrassing interactions between staff and patient, while still allowing for the end goal to be met."
BillPay Manager is the newest addition to ClientTell's line of technology solutions that includes its renowned enterprise-class appointment reminder service.
