We live in the South, so some of us may have a Southern accent, but would you consider saying "goodbye" to "howdy, y'all"?
The Oak Ridge National Laboratory in Tennessee was going to offer a speech class for its workers next month to do just that, until it got canceled.

(CBS NEWS) - A Georgia high school basketball star ranked by several experts among the top prospects nationally collapsed and died Sunday shortly after a game.

The cause of death is still not known. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports Terrell Coleman, 15, had a heart condition.

Coleman was a freshman who played for Miller Grove High School near Atlanta, as well as for the AAU's Atlanta Celtics team. The 6'5", 205-pound small forward nicknamed "Too Tall" was ranked as the 13th-best prospect nationally by future150.com and was one of only 10 players on Prospect Central's freshman watch list.

Beyond his court skills, friends, teammates and coaches praised Coleman as an all-around good kid.

"The kid was just fun to be around. He was a kid with a good spirit and he was hard-working," one of his AAU coaches, Demond Stephens, told CBS affiliate WGCL in Atlanta. "I was calling him 'Smiles' the whole week at the Josh Smith camp. We were there for like, four days, and I interacted with him. He was always smiling the whole week. Getting in there early, staying late. I didn't get anything but a good spirit from the kid."

Miller Grove coach Sharman White told the AJC on Monday: "It's a tragic situation for Terrell's family, and all of us. He was part of our basketball family at Miller Grove. It's just really unfortunate, knowing what kind of person he was. He was a phenomenal basketball player, but I truly have to say he was even a better person. He had a glow about him that was just remarkable."
