CHANDLER, Ariz., Oct. 30, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) is recognizing Infusionsoft CEO Clate Mask as one of the 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs of 2013 at its Builders + Innovators Summit in Marana, Arizona.
Goldman Sachs selected Mask as one of 100 entrepreneurs from multiple industries to be honored at the three-day event. As CEO of Infusionsoft, Mask is leading the company on its mission to create and dominate the market of all-in-one sales and marketing software for small businesses. Under his leadership, Infusionsoft has landed three rounds of venture capital including a $54 million Series C led by Goldman Sachs. Infusionsoft has been experiencing record growth adding 240 jobs in the last 18 months.
"It's really exciting to have Goldman Sachs recognize us for our innovation and economic impact," says Mask. "Infusionsoft is out to change the world for small business. We are making a big difference in the lives of our customers, and when small businesses succeed, it boosts the economy and creates jobs in local communities."
"We are honored to recognize Clate Mask as one of the most intriguing entrepreneurs of 2013," said David Solomon, co-head of investment banking at Goldman Sachs. "This is the second year for the summit and our goal remains the same. We pair seasoned and emerging entrepreneurs -- the builders and innovators -- from a diverse set of industries to discuss how to make vital, enduring companies that reshape industries and boost the world's economies through innovation."
This recognition adds to an already impressive list of awards received by Mask. He has been recognized as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist, a Top 100 Small Business Influencer by Small Business Trends, CEO of the Year by the Phoenix Business Journal's Arizona Corporate Excellence Awards, and Business Leader of the Year by the Arizona Technology Council.
For more than 140 years, Goldman Sachs has been advising and financing entrepreneurs as they launch and grow their businesses.
