Heavy rains cover roads across East Texas

UPDATE: 

Anderson Co closure: FM 1990 south of Palestine closed between US 79 and ACR 2150 to repair washout. No timetable for re-opening.

Anderson Co closure: FM 315 at Brushy Creek, closed between US 175 and FM 837 for high, swift-moving water

Angelina Co. -  All rivers flooding and Flooding reported on all roads. If don't have to travel, don't. 

Sabine Co. - Light flooding in low lying areas. No road closures,

Rusk Co. - Roads flooded trees down (CR 272, CR 271, CR 341, CR 379, CR 2127, FM 3135, CR 110, FM 3053 flooded with 3-5 feet of water,

Trees down- FM 840, FM 918, CR 414, CR 3102.

(KYTX) - We've already had some reports of flooded roads in the East Texas area this morning. 


In Anderson County, there have been reports of water over roadways on FM 645, FM 321 and FM320. 

Also, on FM 2054, the road is impassable going towards Tennessee Colony in Angelina County near 59 North at Union Pacific railroad.

The underpass isn't closed, but there is water over the road.

In Cherokee County in the city of Jacksonville, there is high water on  highway 135.

Over in rusk county, near industrial drive off of Hwy 79 there are reports of about four feet of water.

And there's also, reports of water over roadways on CR 272, CR 271, and CR 346 in Smith County, FM 2868.
