Gregg Co Authorities seeking information on copper theft case

GREGG COUNTY (KYTX) - The Gregg County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's assistance in information of the suspect(s) involved in the burglary of a construction storage building.

The break-in occurred between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. Thursday November 7, and Friday November 8. at the site of the new Sabine School located at 645 Access Road in Liberty City.

Investigators say the suspects took approximately $60,000.00 worth of copper wire, consisting of boxed spools of #6, #8, #10 and #12 wire. The suspect(s) also took two "Wacker Packer" brand tamping tools valued at $2,000.00 each and a laser level valued at $2,000.00.
