From the Bossier City Police Department:

BOSSIER CITY, LA. (KYTX) - Bossier Parish Sheriff's Office investigators have issued a warrant for 2nd degree murder of a north Bossier City man after his wife disappeared Thursday morning.

Investigators believe that Robert Bond, Jr., 53, murdered his wife, Ann (Annie) Bond, 46, and issued a warrant for his arrest late Thursday evening. Robert was located by law enforcement officers in southern Mississippi near Gautier early Friday morning suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, taken into custody and transported to a local hospital.

Physical evidence at the house and witness statements led Bossier Sheriff's Crime Scene Investigators and detectives to issue the warrant for Robert's arrest. His bond is set at $1,000,000.

Bond was found by law officers in a 2005 Chevrolet 2500 HD truck in Gautier, Miss., early Friday morning.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen the  truck anytime on Thursday, Nov. 14, to contact the Bossier Sheriff's Office at (318) 965-2203.

Crime Scene Investigators with the Bossier Sheriff's Office are now in Mississippi to process the truck.

The search for Annie Bond continues.
