Longview teen indicted for assaulting officer jailed four times in three months

LONGVIEW (KYTX) - A Longview teen was indicted this past week for first-degree aggravated assault of a public servant and third-degree evading arrest in a vehicle.

Maximiliano Jimenez, 18, is accused of swerving at a Longview police officer Aug. 28. According to the jail's website, since posting $80,000 bond for release from the Gregg County Jail on Aug. 30, Jimenez has been arrested three times:

*Sept. 17, for misdemeanor theft, released on $1,000 bond that same day;

*Oct. 12, for driving while intoxicated, released on $1,000 bond that same day; and,

*Oct. 26 by Longview police for vehicle burglary and possession of marijuana, plus five outstanding warrants, released on $102,000 bond Nov. 7.
