(CBS NEWS) - When Fla. authorities searched the home where George Zimmerman allegedly pointed a shotgun at his girlfriend last week, they found an AR-15 rifle, a shotgun, three handguns and more than 100 rounds of ammunition, according to the search warrant inventory.

The search was executed on Nov. 18, the same day Samantha Scheibe called police to say that Zimmerman threatened her and locked her out of her Apopka, Fla., home. According to the search warrant affidavit, Scheibe told police that when she said she was going to call 911, Zimmerman pointed the gun at her an asked if "she really wanted to do that."

Zimmerman was arrested and has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, battery, and criminal mischief. A judge allowed him to go free on a $9,000 bond on Nov. 19, but stipulated that he wear an electronic monitoring bracelet, not leave the state of Fla., not possess any firearms and have no contact with Scheibe.

On Feb. 26, 2012, Zimmerman, who was acting as a volunteer neighborhood watchman, shot and killed 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in a gated community in Sanford, Fla. It took several weeks for authorities to arrest Zimmerman, who said he killed the unarmed teen in self-defense, sparking a national uproar. In July 2013, Zimmerman was acquitted of second-degree murder in the case.

A spokeswoman for the State's Attorney told CBS News' Crimesider that the ownership of the weapons found in Scheibe's home is still under investigation. In court, Zimmerman asked Judge Fred Schott to be allowed to go back to Scheibe's home to retrieve his belongings, but the judge declined his request, saying "this is a volatile situation, potentially."

The guns found in Scheibe's home were a Taurus 9mm handgun, an Interarms .380 handgun, a Glock 19 handgun, a Kel-Tec 12 gauge shotgun, and an AR-15 rifle.

Zimmerman is scheduled to be arraigned on Jan. 7, 2014.
