Lufkin Crime Stoppers:

LUFKIN (KYTX) - Crime Stoppers of Lufkin wants your help identifying the person, or persons, responsible for the burglary of the Cycle Shop located in the 3400 block of East Denman Avenue in Lufkin.

Over the night of Sunday, December 1st, someone cut the fence around the shop`s storage yard and stole parts off several customers` motorcycles.

Video cameras outside a neighboring business captured images of three vehicles that came and went from the area during the time of the burglary.  Investigators believe that one or all of the vehicles were involved in the crime.

The first vehicle is a purplish, extended-cab, two-wheel-drive, Toyota truck with damage to the passenger side of its bed.  Based upon the video, the bed side appears to be painted grey, possibly with paint primer.  The second vehicle is a mid-nineties model, extended-cab, two-wheel-drive Chevrolet Silverado with a five-gallon propane tank in its bed.  The third vehicle is a dark-colored Dodge Nitro SUV.

During this burglary, the suspects stole the turn signals, controls, seat, mirrors, headlight bracket, and cables from a 1999 Honda Shadow, the seat and left controls from a Yamaha V-Star, a dash compartment lid from a 1996 Honda Goldwing, and the air cleaner, seat, battery, and a mirror from a Big Dog motorcycle.

If you can identify the person or persons responsible for this burglary, provide information concerning the crime, or identify any of the persons shown in the vehicles, call Crime Stoppers of Lufkin at (936) 639-TIPS or click the "Solve this Crime" link to submit an anonymous tip.  You never have to give your name and Crime Stoppers may pay a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest related to this crime.
