UPDATE: Police make an arrest in the Lindale Walmart case

LINDALE (KYTX) - 23 year old, Justin Deangelo Langrum, was arrested by Lindale police Friday.

Authorities charged Langrum with three counts of theft, an accident involving a vehicle, and possession of marijuana. The Dallas resident was caught in a stolen vehicle on county road 4200 and Lindale. He had in his possession $350 worth of stolen goods from Walmart.

He is jailed on bonds totaling $1,500.00

(KYTX) - A manhunt in Lindale has been called off after a suspect allegedly stole items from Walmart and took off in a stolen vehicle. 

According to Constable Able Bibby the suspect drove off in a stolen car and then struck another vehicle when trying to escape and left the scene on foot.

The unidentified suspect was last seen in the woodland area off Jim Hogg Rd in Lindale.

Lindale Police and Smith County Deputies were called to the scene.
