(CBS) - Anxiety may lead to higher risk of stroke.

(CBS) - Doctors implant hundreds of thousands of hip replacements each year, but a new study suggests the regulation process for his replacements needs improvements.

Researchers in the UK found that nearly 8 percent of the devices were implanted without adequate evidence they'll work properly.

The study in the British Medical Journal says in light of the high failure rate of hip replacements there should be a better system for regulating new orthopedic devices.

(CBS) - Eating more fiber may lower the risk of heart disease.

British researchers collected studies from around the world examining the benefits of a high fiber diet.

They found that even one extra portion a day of whole grains plus fruits and vegetables can lower the risk of heart disease.
