LONGVIEW (KYTX) -

Neighbors, work friends, and family members all stopped by this home in Longview to make sure this family is holding together.

"it makes me feel good that everyone loved dad." - Cameron Chapman, Son
Cameron Chapman saw his dad for the last time Tuesday, but he says his dad left an example for him to follow.
"He was kind to all, he would cheer someone up,  and he would always take care someone in his family"
Cameron says that's his job now.
Cameron's Grandma Jeri says she can't believe the disease moved so quickly.
"It's really taught me that you can't plan far ahead, you never know what's in store"
Jeremy was diagnosed only 3 weeks ago.

"We know he is in a better place, he doesn't have to suffer anymore."

To help out the Chapman family, there has been an account setup in Longview at Regions Bank.
