Two jailed on burglary and stolen vehicle charges

GREGG CO (KYTX) - Two people suspected in a Christmas Eve break-in are jailed on theft and burglary of a vehicle charges.

40-year-old Tommy Wobbington Jr. and 46-year-old Mysti Stell were arrested after a Gregg County Sheriff Deputy noticed a suspicious vehicle parked next to East Texas Sonar at 3200 Highway 259 North.

Upon further investigation, Gregg County Deputy Ken Baker saw that the engine of the vehicle was running and observed a female sitting on the passenger side.

Deputy Baker found the front door window of the business had been broken out.

Moments later, a male ran from the broken door window to a nearby field.

With the assistance of K-9 Deputy Scott Morrison as well as other members of Gregg County and Longview Police, Wobbington and Stell were arrested for burglary of a building.

The suspicious truck was found to be stolen out of Longview and Wobbington and Stell were charged for the theft. Wobbington was also charged for evading arrest or detention.
