ETX man on the run for two years caught after store theft

LONGVIEW (KYTX) - A man who eluded police for nearly two years was arrested this week, after he was caught stealing from an East Texas Retailer.

Terene Jerone Turner of Longview has been wanted since april 2012 for jumping bail in a Gregg County theft case.

Earlier this week, police say Turner and Ashanti Draper of Shreveport were seen taking about one-thousand dollars in clothes from Kohl's in Longview

Kohl's employees said the two suspects pushed and scratched a loss prevention officer trying to get away.

Police arrested the two men at a nearby Starbucks. They are both charged with robbery.

Turner is also being held on several other charges.
