Longview Police seeking information on identifying Restaurant Armed Robbery Suspect

LONGVIEW (KYTX) - Longview Police are seeking information in an aggravated robbery that occurred at a local restaurant on December 20, 2013 at 10:39p.m.

Officers were dispatched to the China King located in the 400 Block of West Loop 281. When officers arrived the victim told police a white male approximately 5'9 to 6'0 tall with an unshaven face approached her while she was at the register.

She said the man had several white patches in his beard on the right side of his face. The man brandished a weapon and demanded the register drawer containing the businesses money.The clerk gave him the money and he left the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect, wearing a black t-shirt, dark colored jeans, and an orange baseball cap,is believed to have fled the scene in a dark silver or champagne colored four-door passenger car.

After reviewing the surveillance video police determined the man had been in the restaurant a few minutes prior to the robbery, approached the counter, took a menu, and left. The case remains under investigation.
